Founded in 1987 by Stanley Owerko, President and CEO, Petrogas is a marketer and distributor of commodities such as liquefied petroleum gas (propane), butane and crude oil in the U.S. and Canada. Their network of terminaling facilities located in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, as well as Scranton, Pennsylvania, North Collins, New York and Plattsburg, Missouri service critical storage depots, refineries and pipelines throughout North America. The company is currently undergoing a major expansion in their capabilities by building a truck and rail terminal in Alberta to handle both light hydrocarbons produced at the Dow Fort Saskatchewan de-ethanization and fractionation plant, and the expanding heavy oil diluents market.

Operations in the United States began in 1993, and are currently under the direction of Thomas Frey, Vice President of U.S. Supply Operations, and Donnie Schubert, Director of U.S. Sales & Marketing.
