Features & Specifications

Standard Equipment Included With Base Units

Seed Planter Parallel Arms Spring loaded parallel arms (left) allow individual planting heads to float independently across the top of the seed bed. Very little pressure is actually applied to the seed bed. A propane fired Turbo Torch is used to pre-burn a hole into the plastic. The planting cup then inserts the seed directly into the center of the hole. For a more comprehensive explanation regarding the hole burning and water systems, follow the Additional Information link above.

Our in-row spacing limitations of 8 to 24" prevent this planter from being used for certain crops, such as onions or peas which require tighter spacings. A simple sprocket change is all it takes to adjust in-row spacing.

MANUFACTURED IN THE USA

A regenerative blower supplies our pneumatic (air) planter with both positive and negative pressure for precise, accurate control. Positive pressure moves the seed to the cup allowing for faster planting cycles. Gravity does not play a factor. Negative pressure is used to hold the seed to the custom drilled seed plate. With a simple adjustment of the bleed-off cone valve, located on the blower, the operator can increase or decrease both vacuum and positive air pressure for unrivaled accuracy.
